The Manx Trophy Rally took place on 30th July – 31st July. Joining the remaining 11 stages of the Manx International Rally the stages were going to be challenging for any driver...let alone a 24 year old Irish lady driver, who was making her debut in a left hand drive, 6-speed Peugeot 206!

Damian Cole will head to the Isle of Man on 29th-31st July to continue his Kwik-Fit Pirelli British Rally Championship(BRC) campaign on the Gibbs Aquada Manx International Rally. Although the Hereford based Welshman has made some changes to his regular set up for the fifth round qualifier.

Brian Armstrong won the Loughgall Country Park Stages Rally for the 2nd time in 3 years on Saturday beating his uncle Norman Armstrong by 8 secs both driving MK 2 escorts. Big crowds turned out to watch the 80 rally cars tackle the 8 special stages in varying conditions.
