The deal will see the fleet of twelve rally cars, which includes the Ford Rally Ka, the MKII Ford Escort, the Subaru Impreza Turbo, the Audi Quattro Turbo and the Metro 6R4, kitted out exclusively on Pirelli products which ensure optimum stability and control whilst adapting easily to variable driving conditions and temperatures.
Since Rally School Ireland opened in 1999, the purpose built one-km circuit located just outside Monaghan town has provided the adrenaline rush to both the driver who has received it as a gift and to the driver wishing to improve their competitive drive. Since then, more than 30,000 people have got behind the wheel and driven over the challenging tarmac and gravel track.
Pirelli have over 100 years of tyre technology resulting in products with maximum levels of security, longevity and comfort.
“These are the qualities that we wanted to be inherent in driving any of our rally cars,” states David Smyth, proprietor of Rally School Ireland.
He added,
“We are delighted to be associated with a world class brand and one which has such prominence in the world of motorsport. We provide a quality product and service and feel that that this can only be enhanced by the use of Pirelli products which give a “feel for the road” and communication with the driver. “
