Irish rally competitors are heading out next week to compete on the Dutch "BHV Expo International Rally".

Leading the Irish contingent is Killarney WRC driver Donie O'Sullivan, with Paul Nagle on note duty, and is seeded at no:3. Next up is the Limerick pairing of Ollie O'Donovan and Sean Mullally who are seeded at no 5 with Kevin Barrett and Barry Goodman at no 7.

Twenty one competitors headed back to Scotland for the fifth round of the TOTAL UK supported Peugeot 206 Super Cup, the Jim Clark Junior Rally. Two spectator stages on Friday evening on Edinburghs famous waterfront preceded the expected six demanding stages on Saturday using closed public roads in the Scottish Borders.

Kris Meeke put in a stunning performance of speed and consistency to win the S1600 category of the 33rd Jim Clark Memorial Rally (4-6th July), third round of the British Rally Championship.

A record 50 entries entered round 5 of the Premier Auto Parts Munster Autotest Championship organised by Skibbereen & District Car Club in Keohanes Readymix, Ballygurteen. The allready slippery surface was made more of a challenge when the rain arrived for the second half of the event.

Following his non-start in April, reigning Autocross Champion Cyril McCullough will be eager to regain the series lead before the summer break as he now trails Ronnie Coulter by 12 points. Round 4 which takes place next Sunday at the Cavan Motor Club venue at Hut Cross outside Cootehill,Co.Cavan will be Cyril’s first run on the full length track, the extension having being completed in April.
