21th Rallye Charlemagne (Ville de Maubeuge) - 4-6 Jul 03

The format of this spectator friendly event will be a loop of 2 Special Stage run twice on Friday evening (18.30 h – 00.30h) and a loop of 3 Special Stage run thrice on Saturday (13.00 h – 22.00 h). 180 Km of S.S over some of the finest twisting and bumpy tarmacs roads will be included in a total route of 490 Km and await a maximum capacity of 100 competitors + 20 competitors on the Historic section (1st Historic Rallye Charlemagne open to cars complying with the prescriptions of article 16 Appendix K of the FIA).

Maubeuge will provide the single central service location : Espace Sculfort will host the action as the cars visit the area 5 times during the week end. Pace note making will be allowed Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd July on specific times.

The week end action will begin with scrutineering on Friday 4th between 10.30 h and 16.00 h.

The winners and the crews still remaining in the rally will arrive for the Champagne celebrations at 22.00 h on Saturday evening.

This year event is a qualifying round of the following championship :
- French Rally Cup Division 1
- Trophée des Pays du Nord
- West Euro Cup
- Eurocup Autorallys
- Volvo Original West Rally Cup

The promoters are looking forward to welcoming foreign competitors and they will once again be offering competitor assistance package. Remember, packages are popular and numbers are limited, so apply early !

Last year’s competitors will be forwarded their copies as soon as regs are available. Alternatively, printable regulation are available on the official event website. Entry will be on a first come, first served basis, therefore it is suggested that entries are submitted early to avoid any disappointment.
