Killarney Autocross (Grass) Weekend - 31 Jul - 1 Aug 04

Autocross action returns to the Kingdom on the Saturday and Sunday of the August Bank Holiday weekend for the Annual Killarney and District Motorclub 2 Day Autocross. The event will be a counting round the National Autocross championship and the Darby o Gills Killarney Autocross Championship.

Clerk of the Course Donie Lucey has chosen a venue in Currans, just outside Farranfore and is expecting over 60 entries from all over Ireland to attend.

Damian Cole will head to the Isle of Man on 29th-31st July to continue his Kwik-Fit Pirelli British Rally Championship(BRC) campaign on the Gibbs Aquada Manx International Rally. Although the Hereford based Welshman has made some changes to his regular set up for the fifth round qualifier.

Nesbitt Takes win

Double Irish Rally Champion Andrew Nesbitt from Armagh became the first double winner at Punchestown today when he took victory at the PlayStation 2 Rally Experience. He beat 5 times Irish Rally Champion Austin MacHale with the pair separated by just 6.8 seconds at the end of the eight stage international rally sprint. Reigning Irish Rallycross man Mike Manning competed the podium with a fine drive into third place

Three in a Row for Nesbitt on Jim Clark Memorial Rally

Andrew Nesbitt, from Armagh in Northern Ireland, took a commanding victory on this year's Jim Clark Memorial Rally, becoming the first driver to win the event three times in a row since legendary rally star Roger Clark's triple in 1974, 30 years ago this month.
