Irishmen Noel Lawler and Charlie Bradley, who are leading the U.S. ProRally Championship, will return to their homeland to challenge the roads at the Donegal Harvest Rally October 9, 1999, part of the Red Mills National Rally Championship.

IAN GREER and DEAN BECKETT have lodged Notice of Appeal to the RIAC National
Court of Appeal against the dismissal of the Appeals arising out of the
Shell Donegal International Rally 1999. The RIAC Court of Appeal sat on 8th
September 1999 and delivered its rulings on 13th September. The matters
subject of the appeal process are of pivotal importance not only to Greer
and Beckett but to all foreign licence holders competing in International
motor sport within the territory governed by RIAC pursuant to the
International Sporting Code of the FIA.

MJ Systems Galway Autocross Saturday 14/8/99 at Ballinasloe

Cathal Hogan from Ballinasloe took the honours on both Saturday and Sunday in the Galway Motor Club rounds of the Gordon Percy Engine Centre National Autocross championship at Ballinasloe on Saturday and Sunday, August 14th/15th, 1999. The event was supported by Mike O'Boyle's M J Systems, Galway and attracted 43 starters.

There are many reasons for this, one being the fact that events can last from eight hours for a single day, to as long as twenty-four hours of competition on a three day event.

Killarney Autocross - Round 3 of the Munster Autocross

Round 3, 1999 Jerry Murphy Race and Rally Tyres Munster Autocross Championship

Killarney was at its most picturesque last Sunday, with snow capped
mountains and blue skies to greet the visitor.The autocross teams were in
town, for the first race of the year in Doyles pit, just outside the town.
The loose autocross was the first round of the Darby O Gill Killarney
Autocross Championship and the third round of the Jerry Murphy Tyres
Munster Autocross Championship.
