The Official website for Jonathan Greer went live on Wednesday 28th March the site features up to date information on all goings on in the camp with regular Rally reports, videos and picture updates planned after all events contested. Jonny can be seen in action contesting the British Rally Championship and the Mitsubishi Evolution Challenge
Jonny, reigning British Fiesta Sporting trophy champion and member of the MSA Rally Elite felt it was time to put his Elite training to good use and start building a promotional profile for himself. He commented “With the emphasis in rallying not only about being a good driver anymore with countless other factors such as the media and fitness skills taught at the Rally elite training days being important I felt a website would bring my achievements and name into the spotlight and bring us closer to achieving our overall aims”
The rally elite training scheme teaches sport science elements from their base at Edinburgh University. These include Sports Psychology, Sports Physiology, Fitness, Nutrition and Injury Prevention. Other topics being covered include Sponsorship and Marketing, Media and Promotion, Specific driver and co-driver skills, Competition Strategy and World Rally Team Visits
The Head of the program Robert Reid himself is the 2001 World Champion Co Driver and he knows all about the skills needed to make it to the top. The aim is to mould them into the best possible package for World Rally Championship teams and aid their transition from British Rallying into the World Rally Championship.
Jonny’s Brother Barry Has also launched website he is competing in both the UK and Irish Fiesta Sporting Trophy in 2008 “With the time and effort taken building up all the website information and the design costs it seemed a waste to not build a website for myself, Like every young driver in Fiesta trophy and similar one make championships I aim to be successful and move up through the ranks so if I can get a bit of PR from the site to help the cause then all the better” Said Barry
