Rally of Wales Cancelled / 206 Cup Round moves to Border Rally

The opening round of the 2003 Pirelli British Rally Championship, the
International Rally of Wales, has been forced to cancel after not receiving
enough entries to make the event financially viable.

Gordon Noble to Co-drive for Peugeot’s Garry Jennings

Currently the only confirmed works Peugeot Sport entry in the BRC, Garry Jennings will team up with co-driver Gordon Noble for a maximum attack in this seasons British Rally Championship (BRC) at the helm of his official works supported Peugeot 206 S1600.

Dale Set for Title Showdown at Last Round of PBRC 2002

Pirelli British Rally Championship, Round 7, The Trackrod Rally, York 28-29 Sept 02
The official Peugeot Super 1600 Pirelli British Rally Championship team enter the seventh and final round of 2002 drivers’ championship this weekend as the series heads to Yorkshire for the Trackrod Rally.
The final round of the manufacturers’ series is the Michelin South of England Tempest Stages rally which Dale and team mate Rory Galligan will contest on the weekend of October 26/27th.

Pirelli British Rally Championship, Round 2, Wales 18-19th May `02
After a challenging start to the Pirelli British Rally Championship
(PBRC), the Peugeot 206 Super 1600 (S1600) official works team have
set their sights high for Wrexham Rally of Wales for the second round
of the Championship. Starting in Wrexham, Justin Dale will leave the
line at 17.02 with Rory Galligan leaving 4th at 17.04.

2002 Pirelli International Rally - 26-28 Apr 02

Round 1 - 2002 Pirelli British Rally Championship
Mark Higgins with Michael Gibson on the notes, won in a Focus, with Tapio Laukkanen winning GpN in a new prodrive Subaru.
Austin McHale/Bryan Murphy in the WRC Corolla, and Robert Woodside/Dean Beckett (Subaru Impreza WRC) both crash out.
Rory Galligan and Gordon Noble on their first works drive for Peugoet finish 3rd Super 1600, but Stuart Darcy didn't make the end of the 3rd stage.
Garry Jennings & Paul Nagle dominate the 206 Cup, winning both rallies.
Ian Chadwich finished second in the VW Polo Championship

Scottish Rally - 15-16 Sept 01

Rory Galligan/Paul Nagle were 6th overall and 1st 106 Cup car, from Ryan Champion. Eamonn Boland/Anthony Nester were 5th, despite the WRC Impreza running on 3 cylinders all rally due to bent valves.
Garry Jennings/James O'Brien finished 12 o/a, 5th 106 Cup, with the Donegal/Derry crew of Shaun Gallagher/Brendan Duggan 8th 106. Adrian McElveney/Cian Curley from Monaghan retired yesterday. No sign of Kris Meeke/Gordan Noble after the last stage.

Association has cancelled this year's British Rally
