The Ford Puma Rally Championship will be the first one make rally championship to use works specification identically prepared 1400 Ford Puma Kit Cars, placing greater emphasis on drivers ability than ever before.

The Championship will consist of five International Events throughout the UK and Ireland and two non-championship “Puma Shoot Out” events in Europe. The Regulations will guarantee some of the closest competition ever seen, in one of the most exciting kit cars ever built.
The Ford Puma Rally Championship has a total prize fund worth £50,000 with the eventual Championship Winner getting a Full works drive on the 2000 San Remo World Championship Rally in a 1600 Ford Puma Kit Car, invitation entry into the Race of Champions and a WRC test drive. The “Puma Shoot Out” events are non-championship events where drivers cannot score points but can scoop a large prize fund.
