Since regulations were released over 90 entries have been received for the inaugural running of the DUNLOP sponsored RALLY OF IRELAND, based at the PLAZA HOTEL Tallaght, Dublin 24

Top entries have been received from Austin McHale, Andrew Nesbitt, Pete Doughty, Eamonn Boland (who will debut his new Subaru), Michael Barrable, Hugh Dunne, Peadar Hurson, Tommy Graham, Daniel Doherty and many many more TROA and National Competitors.

Event scrutiny commences on Friday afternoon at BELGARD MOTORS. Competitors start their first day at 7:15am with drivers briefing and then on to the seventeen stages that go to make up this event. Two tough mountain stages, followed by two fast low country before the first service rest halt. A repeat run of most of the loop, before the sting!.........

Sunday, again an early start -8:00am- on the Spectator Stage around the road network of THE SQUARE.

More mountain stages and onto to Portlaoise. Those that are still running face the haul back and a tough final stage on the Wicklow mountains.........If your still going, the bar is next, then prizegiving and the all night party.
