Munster Autocross 18 R6 Preview Killarney MC

The Killarney and District Motor Club will host the annual Jimmy Devane Autocross on Sunday next August 12th. A loose Autocross, it will be held on Tralee race course with first (of four) run at 1030am.

The Kerry race is round 6 of the Munster Autocross Championhip and is half-way in this years championship-which has for the first time been split into two sections, buggy and saloon.

In the buggy division Mountmellick driver Anthony Culleton (Semog) has a handsome lead with 98 points thanks to four victories and a second place. West Cork driver Paul O'Driscoll (Semog) is second with 72 points, 13 points ahead of Stephen Lane in another Semog buggy.

The saloon segment is tighter with Roscommon's Bobby Cooper (Impreza) on 76 points, ten more than Corkman Ger O'Connell (Celica). The podium is complete with Galway (Bernard O'Leary (Impreza) driver 4 points adrift of O'Connell.
