Next Sunday June 14th the Munster Car Club hosts a loose autocross-round three of the O'Shea Bus Hire Munster Autocross Championship 2015. The event takes place at Rosehill Industrial Estate, Midleton (Signposted from Roundabout in Midleton). Check-in and Scrutiny 9:00 ? 10:00am. First timed run to start at 10:30am. Brian O'Leary is clerk of the course with Muireann Hayes the event secretary.
After two rounds of the O'Shea Bus Hire Munster Autocross Championship -Skibbereen and Clare-the championship leader is Sixmilebridge man Padraig Egan in his Semog Buggy. The Clare racer and 2014 Munster Champion has a narrow lead of four points over James Lucey, the Ballyvourneyman at the wheel of his Subaru Special. Killarney's Tom Daly lies in third place in his JB Buggy, thirteen points adrift of Lucey. In sixth place and leading the saloon category is Ballincollig driver Owen Murphy, in his usual Subaru Impreza.
The Munster autocross is also round 2 of the 5 Star catering National Loose Autocross Championship 2015.
