Please note that the Club are looking for Marshall’s and time keepers for this Saturday night for the Carbery Night Navigation Rally. Help would be greatly appreciated. Contact 086-862001.

If you have not helped out before there is no problem as full training will be given.

This years Carbery Night Navigation Rally organised and run by the Skibbereen & District Car Club will take place on Saturday 8th and Sunday morning 9th December.
The C.O.C for this event is Colm Feen. Speaking earlier he has told us the route being used is challenging for all competitors but that he would hope one and all will enjoy it. The H.Q is Ballinascarthy Hall on the main Bandon to Clonakilty Road. The route will comprise of approx 80 miles. Check in /Scrutiny begins at 20.30. Scrutiny and trailer park will be located in the grounds of Kevin Kelleher tyres a short distance from the hall.
Initial Route instructions will be issued at 21.15 in the Hall. Scrutiny closes at 22.00. Route cards will be issued at 22.15.The first car will then set off at 23.30.
As anybody that knows about Night Navigation the Skibbereen club are always noted for some of the best events in the country. Whether you are a novice trying your hand for the first time or a seasoned professional we want to see you in Ballinascarthy on the 8th of December.
If you cannot compete then why not give the club a hand Marshalling or doing time points.
