Craig Breen brings 2012 season to a close on Rallye du Var

Craig Breen brings his 2013 season to a close next weekend when he competes on the Rallye du Var, Nov 23-25. Craig reunites his partnership with French team, Sainteloc Racing and forms part of a three car team to take on the Provence based three day rally.

This will be Craig’s fourth event this year to connect with the Saint-Etienne based team and the recently crowned SWRC champion will drive a Sainteloc, Peugeot 207 S2000.

Craig’s last outing with the team was on IRC Rallye Sanremo where he claimed 6th overall and was also awarded the Colin McRae Flat Out Trophy.

Looking ahead to the twelve stage event Craig said,
"I'm looking forward to the rally and for once, I can drive without pressure. There are some interesting WRC crews at the head of the field and as I come to the event as S2000 World Champion everyone in this category will want to challenge me. This is my final event of this year and I want to close the season with a good performance.”

Keith Cronin/Barry McNulty will use a Citroen DS3 R3
