In a move which will provide a further boost to Ireland’s classic and vintage vehicle scene, market-leading specialist insurance broker Carole Nash has been confirmed as title sponsor of the fast-growing Classic Car & Motorcycle Live Show.
Hosted at Co. Kildare’s Mondello Park, Ireland’s only international motor racing circuit, the show’s mix of high speed track sessions, demonstrations and displays has proven highly popular with enthusiasts. Since it was established in 2008 attendance figures have soared with the event swiftly establishing itself as a key fixture in the classic calendar. Over 1,000 bikes and cars are anticipated to be displayed at the 2012 show which takes place on Sunday 17th June.
As a result of the new agreement the show will be rebranded as the Carole Nash Classic Car & Motorcycle Live Show with the motorcycle and classic car insurance specialist earning exclusive promotional rights at the circuit and Mondello’s website, Facebook and other platforms. The deal complements the company’s well established sponsorship of the Carole Nash Irish Motorbike & Scooter Show at the RDS in Dublin.
Explaining the decision to back the Mondello show Carole Nash’s head of marketing, Rebecca Donohue said:
“Since our very early days we have always invested in the grassroots and supported those people and events that help ensure the classic scene remains healthy and vibrant. We’re delighted to extend that support to what is a relatively new, different and exciting show. The fact that visitor numbers have soared by over 50 per cent amply demonstrates that the Carole Nash Classic Car & Motorcycle Live Show is a superb showcase of the finest classic and vintage vehicles and Mondello Park an excellent host venue.”
Welcoming the sponsorship agreement John Morris, managing director of Mondello Park, commented:
“We’re thrilled not just to have secured sponsorship for this flagship show, but the support of a sponsor of the calibre of Carole Nash. With a proven track record for actively, not to mention pro-actively, supporting the classic scene we see Carole Nash as the ideal partner.”
