During 2012, the French city of Le Touquet (based in border of the English Channel) will celebrate is first centenary. Le Touquet station gives ts creation and its development to the British man John Whitley. The prosperity of the town is linked to the British presence and the evolution of the city can be founded in the diversity of its architecture.
To celebrate the centenary in style, a lot of various Franco-British events will be scheduled during 2012. Opening round of the highly competitive French Rally Championship, the 52th Rallye Le Touquet Pas de Calais will be part of them.

240 Km of challenging tarmac action will be on offer for the main event and the Historic/Classic Rally with 14 stages spread out over two days (Fri 16-Sat 17 march).

The route will once again contain a Spectator Stage on the seafront promenade and will have a centralised Service Area.
