The MEC Rallysprint on the 4th December just got a whole lot better with the
agreement of Mondello Park to allow us use the new International Loop as
part of our course. Now cars will turn right after rallycross 3 doing the
new loop in reverse and at the end of the loop turning right onto rallycross
2.
The number of laps (3) will not be reduced so competitors will get more
mileage for their reduced entry fee.
A supplementary regulation will be issued on the day amending the course
length and increasing the 'Maximum Time'

Note from the the Club:Posted: November 7, 2011 11:18 AM
This year the club are using a revised course at Mondello incorporating the racing track and the rallycross sections.
The start will now be at the racing entrance to the pit lane, from the pits, but in the reverse direction. Cars will then harpin right and left onto Rallycross 3 and will then follow the previous course in reverse direction but will miss out Rallycross 1, instead going around Shell (first corner on racing circuit) the wrong way.
Each run will be 3 laps with cars keeping left exiting Shell and entering the pit lane (in reverse) on their last lap where a beam will stop the clock.
A limited number of cars will be out in each run so cars on their second or third lap rounding Dunlop (last corner on racing circuit) and entering Rallycross 3 will not meet cars coming from the start.
Its something different and the club look forward to your support.
As a sign of the times a little has been knocked off the entry fee.
