The Philip White Tyres Dawnbreaker Rally will be run this year on 20th November. This rally harks back to the glory days of rallying when events such as the Circuit of Ireland and the Ulster Rally ran right through the night. Crews will start the 160 mile route at 11pm in Armagh and finish back in the city at about 6am on the Sunday morning.

It will run to a Navigation Rally format, meaning that it runs on open public roads, the cars will all be standard road cars and the crews do not know the route before starting. All they have is a blank map and the route information is passed to them at various check points during the rally. Anyone who has a sense of adventure can take part.

If you are totally unfamiliar with this form of rallying, but would like to take part, the Queen's University Belfast Motor Club will be running a one night rallyschool on 9th November.
