3rd Round. Birr Forest Rally. Birr & District Auto Club 4th April.
Class based clubman championship.
2009 winner, Michael Nevin, Des Moran. Class 3, Escort MK2.
The first three rounds are now all forestry and are also rounds of the National Forestry Rally Championship.
This (we hope) will encourage competitors to register for both championships and give assistance to all who compete in maximising their scoring potential.
Competitors may declare one round of the TRITON SHOWERS South East Stages Rally Championship as their bonus round, scoring double points.
The points scoring this year has been altered to reflect the current rally entry situation. Three starters in a class will allow the class winner score maximum points. Sliding scale for two entries and one entry per class.
The more registered entries per class the better the points scoring.
TARMAC ROUNDS:
Carlow Stages 9th May;
Ravens Rock 27th June;
Stonethrowers 8th August;
Dick Bailey Stages 11th, 12th September.
6 Classes, Best Over Seas, Juniors, Group N. Michael Smallwood Perpetual Trophy for the winner of class 5.
