The Armstrong Galloway Hills Rally will take place on Sunday 6th December 2009, featuring a compact route containing over 40 miles of pristine SINGLE USAGE forestry stages spread over 5 stages, linked by less than 70 road miles, with all pre-event checks, start, finish and servicing taking place in Castle Douglas.
All entries received by Saturday 21st November will be entered into a draw and one lucky competitor will win a FREE ENTRY to this years rally. In addition to that, we will continue our unpresidented scheme of offering a FREE ENTRY to the 2010 event to the overall winner and all class winners, subject to there being 6 starters in the class!
The new-look website is now online at www.gallowayhillsrally.co.uk and offers all the information you will require, inlcuding regulations and entry forms, as well as an online entry form which is quick and easy to use, and is the organisers preferred method of entry. The entry lists will also be updated daily as entries arrive.
Stena Line will continue their long term association with the Armstrong Galloway Hills Rally, which stretches back over 30 years. They have again come up with an attractive package using their Belfast-Stranraer service, which includes their new vessel the ‘Stena Navigator’. An early afternoon rally finish, with Car 1 due to finish at 13:30, enables competitors to have a leisurely return home on the Sunday evening crossing. More information, including how to book, is available on the event website.
With the option of Saturday or Sunday scrutineering, Car 1 scheduled to finish by 13:30, plus no increase on the entry fee from 2008 - this end-of-season event is not to be missed!
The club look forward to welcoming you to Castle Douglas in December.
