All systems are go for the Imokilly Motor Club Hillclimb which takes place on Sunday next September 20th in Killeagh in East Cork. Entries are still open and to date the club have recieved over 50 confirmed entries. Although the event is not a counting round of the 2009 Hillclimb Championship the club are delighted by the support from the regular hillclimb competitors.

The venue is the same as last year in Annistown on the Killeagh - Mogeely road, known locally as Gould's hill.

The format for the event is as follows:-Sign on 8-10am with mechanical scrutiny at the bottom of the hill. Drivers briefing 10.15am with the first of the timed runs scheduled for 11.00. Servicing on the day will be on a closed section of the Mogeely - Killeagh road.

A special spectator designated area will be in operation for anyone coming to view the action and this can only be accessed via the finish which will be arrowed from Dangan Cross on the Dungourney - Mount Uniacke road. Please note they will be strictly no spectator access from the start.
