After the inaugural success of last years Brougher mountain rally time trial, Enniskillen motor club and main event sponsor Campbell contracts have vowed to continue the success and even improve this years event. The event last year raised just under £10,000 for the Marie curie charity. Once again this year charity will be the order of the day, the proceeds this year will be divided to Marie Curie and also to the Paul Gallagher recovery fund, This fund was set up to aid the recovery of Paul who was horrifically injured whilst taking part in the Galway International rally back in February, Paul who we all know and respect has been inflicted with spinal injuries which may effect him for the rest of his days which is why he is a worthy recipient of any funding.
This year the club and sponsors have enlisted some hi-profile drivers such as Wesley Patterson, Gary McPhillips and Manus Magee in their full house 2.5 Millinton Escorts and along with a few of the highly entertaining Cambell's threw into the mix it should make for a terrific battle. Not forgetting all the other locals who could spring a surprise or three
The Event shall start from the Campbell contracts premises on the Glen road outside Tempo at approximately 9:00am with several stages planned a fun filled day is to be had.
Viewing is possible via a park and ride system which will bring the spectators to all the vantage points all for a small donation.
Once the Racing has been decided the Rally prizegiving will folly in Tempo community hall which should take place at approximately 6pm, this will be followed by a rally Dance to which all comers are welcome the evening will also include a highly entertaining charity raffle and auction which will be open to all who come along.
