"Unfortunately due to lack of confirmed entries, the organising committee has decided it would not be viable to go ahead with the running of the event and therefore has had to cancel the event. Sincere apologies to all concerned."

Now a One Day Event - (Bank Holiday) Monday 3rd August

Unfortunately due to lack of confirmed entries, the Organisers have at this stage cancelled both Saturday and Sunday.

Closing date for entries has been extended to Friday 3rd July.

The event will now take place on Monday 3rd August starting at 8am.

More details to follow.

Entry Forms available at Donegal Rally

Entry forms for the Paul Gallagher Fund Raising Grand-Prix will be available this weekend at the Donegal Intl Rally.
You can pick up a form at Service over the weekend in the "CCS Race N Rally" camper.
Completed entry forms will also be accecpted over the weekend.

Also completed entry forms can be sent to;
Marie Casey,Rathcahaun, Ruan, Ennis, Co Clare, ROI.

GRAND PRIX FORMAT

Grand Prix will take place over the August Bank Holiday weekend
Saturday 1st to Monday 3rd August
at XTREME KARTING, Dunkerrin, Roscrea, Co Tipperary
located just off the Limerick - Dublin Road between Roscrea & Moneygall

• 60 teams of 10
  
• 4 teams per Grand Prix
• 10 competitors per race
• 2-3 from each team per race
• Minimum 2 races per competitor
• Competitor’s seeding for first race - .1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
• Competitor’s seeding for second race - 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
• Each race will last approximately 10 mins
• Fastest lap wins in heats
• Top 2 in each race will qualify for Grand Prix Finals
• 8 competitors in Grand Prix Finals
• Top 3 to get trophies supplied by Xtreme Karting
• Top 3 in each race qualify for Final Grand Prix on Monday afternoon

PRELIMARY DETAILS OF THE EVENT ARE AS FOLLOWS

ITS A 3 DAY GO KARTING GRAND PRIX HELD IN XTREME KARTING IN DUNKERRIN CO TIPPERARY WHICH IS LOCATED JUST OFF THE LIMERICK - DUBLIN ROAD BETWEEN ROSCREA AND MONEYGALL

IT WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY AUGUST 1ST TO MONDAY AUGUST 3RD

TEAMS OF 10 ENTRY FEE 50 EURO PER INDIVIDUAL OR 500 EURO PER TEAM
ENTRY IS LIMITED TO 60 TEAMS
ALL MOTOR CLUBS WILL RECIEVE A LETTER WITH DETAILS AND ENTRY FORMS IN THE COMING WEEKS

ANY COMPETITOR, OTHER MOTOR SPORT ORGANISATIONS OR ANYONE ELSE THAT WISHES TO ORGANISE A TEAM WILL BE MOST WELCOME
AND IF A MOTOR CLUB WISHES TO SEND 2 OR 3 TEAMS THATS NOT A PROBLEM...
