The Marshal training for the Quality Hotels West Cork takes place next Tuesday night, February 24. Venue will be the Showgrounds, Ballintemple in Cork with a start time of 8.30pm.

The Showgrounds have been used before for this type of training and have proved ideal. The arena enables the complete set up of a special stage indoors, so weather conditions are not a factor.

Full training for the different roles of marshalling on a special stage will be given. Also the setting up of junctions, i.e. safety on stages, areas where spectators may not stand, procedure of what to do in case of an accident, spectotor control, etc.
