Event News
Preparations are in full swing for the up and coming Delaney Ryan Group Cashel Single stage Rally, a Huge entry of over 150 crews have been received to date with some top 2wd drivers in the country sending in entrys.

The Tipperary MC has been working for the past months to put together a challenging stage in and around the Cashel area that will test all of the competitors. The club has been working hard to ensure no illegal recce is being carried out, and has Judges of Fact on the stage, this was requested by the residents. Any crew that is reported breaking the rules will be investigated and could face exclusion from the event. The Rally which is based in Cashel is expected to bring in a large crowd for the rally, in both support crews for the 130 competitors and many spectators and followers, bringing some much welcome business to the town of Cashel.

For any one that would like to assist in Marshalling on the day the meeting point is the Statoil Filling Station, Cork Road Cashel at 8:30am.Contact the stage commander Martin O Keeffe on 086 8790360.

A sneak preview of some of the top competitors received to date can be seen below and with the seeding list about to be finalised it looks like it will be a very competitive rally in all classes. Some of the top MK2 drivers include James Coleman, Liam Wall, Willie Whitty. Driving his Nissan sunny will be Andrew Purcell. Another driver that will be looking for the top honours will be James Stafford but with the likes of Trevor Harding and Eddie Power also competing it will be no easy task. Ian Roche will be competing with Justin Dale calling the notes so he will not be taking it easy. Other top competitors in the rally include Alan J Doherty, Thomas O Rourke, Don Keating, John Kearny, John Somers, Declan Tansey, David Lenord, Larry Brady, Pat O Connell, David Delaney, Keith Power

Prelimerary Details
The COC for the event is Paul Manton and Assistant COC is the experienced Jim O Brien. The event is sponsored by the Delaney Ryan Group and the headquarters for the rally will be Kearney Castel Hotel in the town of Cashel.
