Letterkenny teenager for 206 cup
The David Higgins Scholarship winner Conor Harvey is ready to take on the Peugeot 206 cup drivers in Bormouth next weekend driving the M O Brien plant Hire car.

Conor 19 from Letterkenny has been competing in Ireland in Honda Civics and more recently an ex 106 cup car, Conor is due to test the car and receive some tuition from David at the Family rally school on Saturday.

“Conor really impressed me during all the scholarship rounds and with no prior forest experience his times in the competition were amazing and very smooth. Not only that but his hunger to make a go of things and his willingness to learn really stood out from the rest”

The car Conor and his co-driver Patrick Robinson will use is the car that Mick O’Brien used this year to win the winter cup, Mick a sponsor of David during last seasons British Championship says “its great to be able to support some one that David has so much faith in, I hope we can keep him in the car for the full season”

“David and Daniel have given me a massive boost to my career, they are always on the end of the phone helping in every way possible, I aim to try and learn as much as I can from these guys as possible and use this scholarship to the full”
