Further postponement...

"It is with regret that the committee have made the decision to cancel the Hall Trophy Rally at Weeton Barracks on the 26th August.
We have worked very hard over the last few months to get this on. We have been advised that nothing will be allowed to happen on site till September at the earliest due to an environmental issue.
We are disappointed to be saying this but the decision is out of our hands.
To all competitors and marshals who had pencilled in this event we can't thank you enough. We, as a club, pride ourselves on putting simple no nonsense events on for the competitors to enjoy.
We have a date in Feb 2024 we want to provisionally book and work towards and going by communications should be good to go.
Should current entered Competitors wish to have their entries refunded please contact the entries secretary but please be patient.
Should the current entered competitors wish to secure a place for the Feb event you can and it will be honoured at the 2023 rate you don't need to do anything with your entry. The entry fee for 2024 will probably see an increase.
Once again we apologise to all concerned and thank you for sticking with us."

Joint Statement by the organisers of the Hall Trophy Rally & Stockport 061 Targa.
"We have received notice that due to unforseen circumstances the venue where these events were supposed to take place namely Weeton Barracks have presently been withdrawn from use until further notice so due to the MOD not allowing events there in the forthcoming weeks both events have had to be postponed.
We apologise for this its a decision which is out of our control, Clitheroe and District Motor Club have managed to secure a date later in the year on the 26th August for the Hall Trophy Rally and all entries will automatically transfer across. If you wish to withdraw your entry please contact the entries secretary and be patient whilst we process it. Stockport 061 are actively looking for a different date for their Targa. Please contact them direct for further advice."
