Kielder Forest Rally Organisers Update - 2021 Event not going ahead

"Following the announcement by Motorsport UK that motorsport on Forest England land will not resume until 30th September 2021, it is with great disappointment that we have to announce the postponement of the Kielder Forest Rally 2021.

With a very congested calendar in the latter part of the year we now aim to run in June 2022.

Despite a lot of work behind the scenes we had plans to run an exciting and COVID safe event this year but unfortunately this was not to be.

We know many of you including competitors and marshals alike may have booked accommodation and made your plans and we can only apologise to everyone who was looking forward to what had hoped to be the first forest stage rally in England as COVID restrictions were being eased. We hope you will understand that the reason for the postponement is for reasons completely outside our control.

The team will continue to work with all of our stakeholders including Motorsport UK, Forest England, BTRDA and our partners, sponsors, marshals and competitors going forwards.
