Round 1 of the Motorsport Ireland National Navigation Trail Championship/ Munster Night Navigation Championship, kicks off on Saturday October 12th/13th on The Cork Motor Club’s Startrek Navigation Trial.
The event will base its headquarters out of Inchingeelagh Community Centre, Directions to the venue will be arrowed on the night. First car away is at approx 11pm and from there the competing crews will go on to tackle a very demanding 110 mile route which will include a petrol halt , the event is based on 90 percent tar and on real navigation , this event could be done on a standard sump guarded with a good set of of non forestry tyres , so i would like to encourage anyone that has any notion of doing the event put the wheels in motion.
