Limerick Classic & Vintage Car Club are hosting another classic car evening on Friday 7th March at 8 PM in the Kilmurry Lodge Hotel, Dublin Road, Limerick.

In aid of the National Council for the Blind. On Friday March 7th in the Kilmurry Lodge Hotel Limerick at 8pm, organised by the Limerick Classic & Vintage Car Club.
(This is near the University of Limerick and just off M7 junction 28).

The evening will feature the following;

    - A talk by Adrian O'Connell. The builder and driver of the Aster Special, which won races at Dunboyne and the Phoenix Park in the 1960s. Everything from fitting an Alfa Romeo engine into a Lotus to test driving a Ferrari 250LM !

    - The fascinating story of Jack Daniels , a man with Irish connections ,who helped Alec Issigonis to design the legendary Mini. Hear about the 4 wheel drive Mini prototype developed for the American Army.

    - 25 years of the Irish Mini Owners Club

    - A slide show of Irish built Mini-based specials.
The talks will be illustrated by many photos & slides never seen before.
