Jimmy McRae will once again take to the wheel as the opening car for the event. He will be driving the Subaru Legacy RS that Colin used to with the 1992 British Rally Championship.
The event will run this year on Saturday the 25th September. The event will be back in the "Bears" second home of Perth.
Perth Racecourse will be the Rally HQ again with all the Friday night goings on. The Central service will also be at the usual spot in Aberfeldy. A word of warning though don't make your way into Perth City centre on Saturday morning (unless you want to shop!) as the start has moved!
The rally will now kick off from the town of Aberfeldy with the first car due off the ramp at 8.31am. The people of Aberfeldy have welcomed this and they are working with the team to pull out all the stops and make it something to come and see. As Errochty is not being used this year there will be no long treks north for drivers or spectators giving a more centralised rally for all.
The rally route is coming along nicely - running 45 stage miles as normal. The 45 miles will be made up of 5 stages including the famous 2 - Drummondhill and Craigvinean. Also bringing back into the route this year - Griffin.
