STATEMENT FROM BOB MCKEOWN, CLERK OF THE COURSE FOR THE COOKSTOWN STAGES RALLY 4TH SEPTEMBER 2010.
"COOKSTOWN MOTOR HAVE RECEIVED ENOUGH ENTRIES TO RUN THE RALLY ON SATURDAY 4TH SEPTEMBER AND WILL DEFINITELY GO AHEAD AS PLANNED.
THE ROADS TO BE USED (ALL TARMAC) HAVE BEEN BRUSHED AND PREPARED FOR THE EVENT.
THERE ARE UP TO 20 PLACES LEFT ON THE ENTRY LIST, SO IF ANYONE WANTS TO INCREASE THEIR POINTS TALLY IN THE:
ANICC PACENOTES 2WD CHALLENGE 2010.
OR THE
MAGHERAFELT CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP 2010.

For the next round of the Pacenotes ANICC 2wd Challenge, Cookstown, the regs and entry forms are now on the Cookstown MC website.
The organising team have made some changes to this year's event, now in it's 12th year, to suit the current economic climate and make the event even better value for the Clubman.
Some of the main points are:
More stage distance, almost 60 competitive kilometres
No public road sections
No requirement for Vehicle Road Tax on the competition cars
No Road Risks Insurance Required, saving Competitors Cars at least £26 Stg
All stages run out from and return to the service area all in the same complex.
7 stages total
Scrutiny on the morning of the event
Central Service, only one service vehicle required
Service personnel can easily spectate on the stages, just a short walk away
Great value early entry fee of only £170Stg or €200euros!
