On July 3rd and 4th 2010, the Tipperary Motorclub will run their now famous Hillclimb weekend. DetailsPosted: May 21, 2010 8:33 AM
The Tipperary motorclub Hillclimb event sponsored by the Marine Bar Pulla, which takes place on the 3rd and 4th of July 2010 will have regs out next week. The event which is Round 7 and 8 of the Connaught Competition Engines Irish Hillclimb and Sprint Championship, will take place again this year at the very popular "Sweep" Dungarvan which is the old Cork Road. This piece of tar is a classic hillclimb road because not only has it a good change in altitude from start to finish but it is very smooth and there are two very challenging hairpins to negotiate and also spectate at. At this event you will see an amazing selection of cars, everything from Single seaters (Lant, Formula Opel Lotus, Judd powered Pilbeam, OMS to name a few) to 300Bhp MKII Ford Escorts, Darrians to beautiful Starlets, Minis, Novas and historic Rally cars will be there. This is an excellent opportunity to get the car out of the garage for relatively small money for a good competitive weekend. For more information please see club website: |
