M-Sport launches new interactive website

M-Sport, the Cumbrian based company that supports the Ford Motor Company entry to the World Rally Championship, has today launched a new fully interactive website.

The redeveloped site - www.m-sport.co.uk - is designed to act as an information portal for M-Sport products and its partners under one interactive umbrella, and features over 250 pages of content. Visitors to the site can now easily access the company’s latest news and are able to comment and discuss the stories directly on the site. They can also browse driver profiles and team sponsor pages, as well as connecting to social networking channels with all the latest from the rally championships that M-Sport and its customers are involved with around the globe.

To mark the launch of the new website, M-Sport is holding an online competition to give away a BP Ford Abu Dhabi World Rally Team replica jacket signed by FIA World Rally Championship drivers Mikko Hirvonen and Jari-Matti Latvala. In order to be in with a chance of winning, fans simply have to visit the M-Sport Facebook page www.facebook.com/msportrally and answer a simple question.

The competition will close on Friday September 24 and the winner will be picked at random from the correct answers. Two runners-up will also each win signed posters from the Munchi’s Ford World Rally Team and the Stobart M-Sport Ford Rally Team.

Malcolm Wilson, Managing Director, M-Sport said:
“M-Sport has expanded into new customer facing areas over the past few years and we felt it was necessary to showcase as many of these areas as possible through one fully interactive website. We also recognise the importance of social media and its ability to help keep our fans up-to-date with all the latest team news, whether it’s from the WRC, S-WRC or the Fiesta SportTrophy championships, so we’ve incorporated this and placed all of our Facebook, Twitter and YouTube channels in one central area within the new site. We have added new features and information aimed at highlighting the key areas of the business and developed the site to act as a portal to direct visitors to our team partners’ own sites.”
