Ronnie Coulter Sets fastest time at Sligo Autocross

With only the slightest margins separating the top finishers at the Saehan venue , it was Ronnie Coulter in the Rallycross Astra who took the title , piping local man Enda Haran in an Escort by a mere 0.06 of a second on the third and final run of the day . Coming home in third spot , having lead after the second run , young Stephen Lipsett in the C2 finished just over a 0.3 of a second off the winning time on the third run.

Regulations and Entry forms are currently available from the club website, and with once again a maximum accommodation for 70 starters , competitors are encouraged to submit their entry as early as possible.
Closing date for entries is Friday September 4th .

Clerk of the Course for the September event is Pat Taffee , who having acted in the role as Chief Marshal for the Sligo Stages in recent years complimenting his experiences over numerous seasons in the navigator seat , is now undertaking the chief role for the clubs third event at this venue for 2009.

Scrutiny commences at 8.30am with first timed at 11.00

Their again will be no Spectator access to the venue at the request of the owners and the entrance gate will be manned by Private Security.
