GLOBAL GROUP RENEW SPONSORSHIP FOR 2008 IRISH TARMAC RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP
Global Group International, a property development company with offices in Dublin, Galway and Sligo are to continue their sponsorship of the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship.

Making the announcement, competitors Noel Mc Carrick and Tom Gormley both Directors of Global Group stated that they were delighted to be continuing the excellent working relationship established with the Championship for a further year.

"Global Group International are aiming to make significant developments in the Irish and UK markets and we see the Tarmac Rally Championship as an excellent means of achieving this” said Global Group International's Noel Mc Carrick.

"Welcoming the announcement Championship Manager Don Wilmont stated “Sponsorship is a business arrangement and I very much look forward to again working with Global Group International and the event organizers to further raise the profile of the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship., 2008 is going to be a good for Irish rallying.. We intend to build on the current success of the Championship and the increased opportunities presented for the sport from the visit of the World Rally Championship in November,” concluded Wilmont.


The Championship Rounds will remain the same as 2007, dates to be confirmed.
