The atmosphere created by the enormous crowds viewing the famous and historic stages -- which wind through the tricky snow- and ice-covered roads of Belgium -- echo a return to the 'Golden Age' of Belgian rallying, evoking memories of many other rallying 'greats', such as Blomqvist, Waldegaard and Kankkunen.
