Three in a Row for Nesbitt on Jim Clark Memorial Rally

Andrew Nesbitt, from Armagh in Northern Ireland, took a commanding victory on this year's Jim Clark Memorial Rally, becoming the first driver to win the event three times in a row since legendary rally star Roger Clark's triple in 1974, 30 years ago this month.

Channel 4 coverage of the Jim Clark Memorial Rally has been confirmed
for 11.00am this Saturday, 20 July.
There will also be a repeat at 02.35am on Friday 26 July
Andrew Nesbitt/James O'Brien take a hard fought win in Scotland against the BRC regulars. Derek McGarrity lead after day one but luck was not on his side as he suffered a mechanical retirement.

McHALE LOSES FIFTH IN EXHAUST EXIT FROM JIM CLARK RALLY

Austin McHale (Rathcoole) lost out on a certain fifth place from the Jim Clark Memorial Rally last weekend, the Toyota Ireland Corolla WRC driver having a good run in both the Toshiba Computers Irish Tarmac and the Pirelli British Rally Championships until the 15th stage on Saturday.

Scot leading the Championship in 206 Super Cup

The 206 Super Cup heads back to Scotland, for the only mainland closed roads rally in Britain, the Jim Clark Memorial Rally. With a headquarters, promotional start and the event formalities all based in Edinburgh, the event will have a high profile start and finish, while the competitive element, the special stages, are based in the hills around Duns and Berwick.

Peugeot Works Team - Positive Outlook for Challenge Ahead’

The fourth round of the Pirelli British Rally Championship kicks off next weekend. North of the border again, the Jim Clark Memorial Rally takes the series to Edinburgh and the hills around Duns and Berwick. This rally will provide some of the most testing stages so far this season for official works drivers, Rory Galligan and Justin Dale in their Super 1600 Peugeot 206’s.

McHALE AIMS FOR HIGHLAND FLING IN FIRST JIM CLARK RALLY!

Austin McHale (Rathcoole) is one of several of Ireland's leading rally
drivers heading for Scotland to compete in his first Jim Clark Memorial
Rally this Friday and Saturday, July 12/13, with co-driver, Brian Murphy
(Newbridge) on the notes.
The fourth round of the Pirelli British and the Toshiba Computers Irish
Tarmac Championships, McHale has had a busy season in the Toyota Ireland
Corolla WRC, having competed in both series although he has been dogged
with punctures on the British gravel events. He currently lies fourth in
the Irish Tarmac series with 14 points behind Andrew Nesbitt (30), Eamonn
Boland (22) and Derek McGarrity (19).
