The Border Counties Rally - 22nd March 2003
The competitors on the first round of the Peugeot 206 Super Cup unexpectedly found themselves in Scotland when the Border Counties Rally was included in the Championship as a replacement for the cancelled Rally of Wales.

GALLAGHER LAUNCHES BRITISH CUP CHALLENGE

Irish Rally driver Shaun Gallagher begins his assault on the 2003 British Peugeot 206 Super Cup when he competes in round 1, the Border Counties Rally this Saturday the 22nd March. The Rally is a round of the New Pig Scottish Rally Championship. This event in run in the famous Kielder Forest and consists of forty-five stage miles over six stages.

Celtic Benefit on the Winter Cup
Shane McCarthy/Tony Mulcahy finish Third
Thirteen Peugeot competitors started the final and deciding round of the Peugeot 206 Winter Cup from Bournemouth, five of them with a chance of taking the title. Seventy five competitive miles divided into sixteen stages awaited them, beginning with the spectacular high speed sprint along Bournemouth Promenade in blinding sunshine.

The second round of the inaugural Peugeot 206 Winter Cup was completed in
the most glorious sunshine imaginable for a frosty January day. With the
temperature not rising above freezing for most of the day, the condition
of the road was changeable from icy under the trees to dry and fast on
the open sections.

The Galloway Hills Rally - 1st December 200
The first round of the inaugural Peugeot 206 Winter Cup got away to a cracking start with fourteen starters, of whom no fewer than eight were competing in Peugeot 206’s for the first time.
The 45 stage mile event started from the hospitable town of Castle Douglas in South West Scotland under brightening skies, although heavy overnight rain had made the stages very slippery indeed.
