Photo: Georgie Bell Westmeath and District Motor Club are delighted with the turn out to our Hillclimb launch at Doynes in Glenidan on the 18-2-23. This will be a one day event this year on the 12 of March 2023, with the aim to become a two day Championship Round in 2024 . We have a lovely 2km piece of road with plenty of driving. The entries are coming in nicely and we are hoping for 60 cars on the day . We would like to acknowledge the support from the Hillclimb Committee in setting up the event, thank the local residents for all their support, and also thank Westmeath County Council for their assistance. We would like to thank our sponsors for the event - Bell Homes, 360 tech, Lough Owel Motors, Pack and Pallet, Machinery Warehouse Ltd., Thin Stone, Casey Coatings, Mullingar Plumbing Supplies, Pollard Karting, Noel Doyne, Sean Doyne, Aira Technology, KDS, Gardiner Plant, and Makool Refrigeration . Entries are still open for the event – if interested entries are online through the Shannon Motorsport website. It is a free event to come and watch. The launch is on at Doynes Collinstown Co Westmeath on Saturday the 18th of Feb 2023 at 2 pm.
