Nevertheless, despite all the effort made and the good will of all parties, logistical limitations have made it impossible to run the competition this year.
Definitely, It is 2020 It is not the year we imagined, much less the year we wanted. Well, the Rally Argentina celebrated its 40th anniversary and it should be a great party.
It is important to highlight and thank the accompaniment of the national authorities, provincial and municipal, as well as that of our sponsors who maintained their support, even in this difficult moment.
And of course, fundamentally we want to recognize the heart of this rally: our fans of all time who eagerly yearned to go to every corner of the mountain to live, once again, passion for the WRC.
Looking to the future, the organization is already working on the preparation of the edition 2021 of the Rally Argentina, with the hope of carrying forward the due and well-deserved celebration of a rally that is already historic in world motorsports.
Carlos Garcia Remohí, President of the Sports Commission of the ACA: "It is a cancellation that hurts us. It is sad not to be able to celebrate the 40th edition this year. The Rally Argentina is very important to us. We hope to have a rematch in 2021 ”.
David Eli, General coordinator of the rally: "I feel this cancellation as much as our fans. We did our best to keep the rally this year, but we were not unscathed by this pandemic either. I want to thank the sponsors who accompanied us this year, to the government authorities who had pledged their support as every year, to the members of the organization for all their work and dedication; and tell them that we are already working hard for the edition 2021 that will allow us to celebrate the 40th edition, just as we had planned this year ".
