Galway Mini Centre has stepped up to title sponsor for Mini Magic, happening in Tynagh, Loughrea, County Galway on July 15.
“We are delighted to say Galway Mini Centre has boosted its involvement with Mini Magic,” said WillPromotion Event Director, William Neill.
From a potential entry to track sponsor to now also sponsor the relaxed format Mini parking show area, we owe Ray Cunningham recognition for his dedication – and it’s a real compliment to Mini Magic to have local business support ahead of owners arriving.”
Entries are continuing to come in via the online entry system at MiniMagicEvents.com/enter with a wide range of Minis from standard 1000cc cars to newly built track cars – some of which will appear in public at Mini Magic for the first time.
“We want everyone to feel they can enjoy the track section no matter their experience or car performance. Cars will be grouped based largely on the car’s background (road-going, rally, track), and driving experience. Add to that it is a track day format – not a race or timed, and it means road cars can get on track without the worry of full on race cars in their mirror,” Neill explains.
“Its all about having an excuse to get on track, up the gears and mingle with other owners who are interested in driving and getting the most from their car.”
The track entry fee is €95 (euro) and a passenger is permitted. Requirements are 18+, Irish or UK driving license, working belts or harness, long sleeves and a track day-spec helmet. Spaces are limited and going.
Each run will have three laps measuring a total of around 4km, with runs added throughout the day.
The relaxed format Mini parking show area can be entered on the day at €10 (euro) with access to the track viewing area.

Posted: February 5, 2018 6:50 AM
Galway Mini Centre will display a set of Minis prepared by the specialist at Mini Magic on July 15, as part of their track day sponsorship.
WillPromotion event director, William Neill, said: “Galway Mini Centre and Ray Cunningham have shown real enthusiasm for the Mini Magic event from the word go.
“It is rewarding to see our determination has been noticed by such a well respected Mini competitor and specialist. Put on top of that it will be a local event for the company and it works perfectly to have their support.”
Cunningham plans on taking at least one Mini on track where a lucky prize winner will sit alongside in what will be another busy season for the rally champion and business owner. Anyone who brings a Mini to the event will be in with a chance to get a passenger run with the rally champion. A name will be randomly selected on the day.
As a Mini builder, maintenance specialist and parts stockist for road and competition cars, the Galway Mini Centre owner will be available to talk to customers during the day.
Both the relaxed atmosphere show and track day element of Mini Magic have received notifications of interest and entries from both road and competition car owners. UK enquires has also boosted the potential for the summer event. Entries are now open and with limited places on track, early entry is encouraged and show entries are on the day.
The keenly priced track day at what is Europe’s largest outdoor karting centre is €95 (euro) and will run under a group format with three laps each session at around 4km, giving time for a mixture of getting on track, viewing the action and time to take in the show. Sessions will continue throughout the day with a passenger – providing they have signed in and meet requirements – permitted.
As it is a track day road cars are permitted. The minimum requirements are an Irish or UK driver license, long sleeves, working belts or harness and a track day-specification helmet with the aim to allow a wide scope of Minis on track.
Galway Mini Centre pre-ordered parts can be collected on the day at Mini Magic. To place an order phone +353 91 790046, +353 87 7995517 or email enquiries@galwayminicentre.com.
