Details

"This communication is to let you know that the Skibbereen & District Car Club Carbery Night Navigation trial is due to take place on the 25th & 26th November. Event regulations are still not available as they are with Motorsport Ireland but I would appreciate it if people can let me know if they are competing and we will sort the entry forms once they are approved by MI.

The event is running out again out of the Kilmacabea GAA Hall, Leap, Co Cork, Grid Reference (89 / 204 383) with a start time of 23:01. This is the same HQ as last year, but not all of the same roads (you may be glad to hear!). The event is just short of 85 miles long, with Brian O'Mahony acting as Clerk of the Course. Given the nature of the COC's past events, a good nights entertainment is guaranteed, with the odd right headscratcher thrown in.

If people want to file and expression of interest in competing on the event, they can email, text or carrier pigeon back with their details to myself or the COC. Completed entry forms (once available) can be sent to the event secretary electronically or via post."

    Maps:
Ordinance Survey Ireland Discovery Series, Sheet 89, 4th edition, will be used for the event. Eric Hopkirk Romer will be used.
