1,000 Shakes Navigation event back in Macroom for 2016

The 1000 Shakes Night Navigation Trial of 2016 will take place on Saturday night, Sunday morning January 17 and 18.
Run out of the Macroom Golf Club, the event will have a route of approximately 80 miles in length. Petrol will be required for the full competition without re-fuelling. Grid references only will be used to give location and required approach and departure of time points (No tulips, herringbones or traces will be used for the main section of the event). Additional explanatory diagrams may be given for complicated junction layouts. Maps needed are OSI Discovery Series, Sheets 79(3rdEd) and 85(4th Ed).
Check-in and scrutiny will be from 7pm on Saturday, January 17 at Macroom Golf Club (335?726 - Entry thru Castle Gate Arch in Town Square).
Nial Murphy is back as COC for the event.
Regs are with MI awaiting approval & will be available as soon as event permit is issued.
