Motorsport insurance specialists REIS are pleased to announce the company has signed an exclusive sponsorship deal with the organisers of Europe's premier rally car show Rallyday that takes place at Castle Combe circuit in Wiltshire on Saturday 19th September. This new association sees REIS become the official insurance partner and the sponsor of the Feature Cars - the iconic modern and classic rally cars that are invited to participate in the event's feature stage - the highlight of the day's activities.
Rallyday regularly attracts crowds of over 10,000 and, in 2015, will celebrate its 15th anniversary. The event features appearances by star drivers, live action demonstrations and static displays of rally cars that span a period of over 50-years. Adding to the spectacle will be the familiar large gathering of car clubs, trade stands, driving demonstrations, public track time and a wide range of attractions and entertainment.
REIS are specialists in the motorsport and automotive insurance industry and have, for many years, provided cover for competitors, teams, events and businesses that are involved with rallying. It therefore sees its new partnership with Rallyday as an ideal way of underpinning its involvement with the sport, as Head of Motorsport Development Mark Taylor explains:
"We are delighted to confirm REIS as official insurance partner for Rallyday's 15th anniversary year. Organised by enthusiasts, the show has gone from strength-to-strength. Consequently, we see our association as a way of endorsing our rallying connection, whilst, at the same time, we are supporting an event that is extremely popular with the fans and does a great job of showcasing the sport to a large audience.
"This new partnership also allows us to get our message across that, as well as rally drivers and their cars, we also provide insurance cover for competitors, organisers and businesses that participate in all forms and at all levels of motorsport."
Rallyday principal organiser Tom Davis sees this association as a positive step for all concerned and said:
"It's great to have a company like REIS on board that is a well-respected and established brand. Its experience in the sport means it really does understand rallying and therefore, we are looking forward to working with them for this and hopefully, many more years to come."
