The McGrady Insurance Navigation Rally Championship gets underway again after the summer break with Dungannon Motor Club’s Moonraker Rally. Derek Smyth is the new COC and has devised a compact 80 mile rally, using a mixture of the finest roads and private lanes that Co Tyrone has to offer. The addition of private lanes will challenge both navigator and driver. The rally takes place on Friday 6th September.

Both new and past competitors are encouraged to enter and with two events cancelled earlier in the year, the championship is still wide open. Navigation rallying is a great way to get involved in rallying at minimum cost using standard road cars. Past competitors have gone on to compete as drivers and navigators at WRC level so why not come along and see where you end up.
