"Following the success of the 2012 Hutton Kitchens Brands Hatch Summer Stages, Chelmsford Motor Club and MSV were keen to repeat the event in 2013. Having provisionally agreed a date of 30th June 2013, both Chelmsford Motor Club and MSV are extremely disappointed to announce that due to circumstances beyond our control there will not be a Hutton Kitchens Brands Hatch Summer Stages in 2013.

When the German Grand Prix moved its date earlier this year, it caused a cascade of date changes, starting with the Goodwood Festival of Speed and changes which then spread throughout the national racing calendar. The only date available for the rally would have caused a clash with an existing rally in the South East and as Chelmsford Motor Club and MSV have no wish to adversely affect any other clubs’ events, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone the rally until 2014. This will not affect the Brands Hatch Winter Stages, which will be on Sunday 12th January 2014."
