All roads lead to Roscommon for the annual Moto Stages Rally 2013. This years rally will, again, host a Shakedown Stage on Saturday the 23rd of March and 9 Stages on Sunday 24th. Entries are coming in fast but competitors are urged to put their entry in early. Midland Motor Club is holding a raffle for entries that are received before the 19th of March. One lucky crew will get the opportunity to get their entry money back.
At the rally launch in the Abbey Hotel in Roscommon Town, COC Sean Cahill commented “We have put a lot of work into picking the best stages in the area and minimising road sections. This year we are having a central service area in the middle of Roscommon Town, which will bring spectators closer to the main hub. As with last year, we are holding a Shakedown Stage which comprises of approximately 4 km. This will be held on Saturday evening, 23rd March, at no extra cost to the competitors.”

Known as the hidden gem of rallying the Midland Motor Club is holding the
Abbey Hotel Moto Stages Rally on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th March 2013.
With backing from the Abbey Hotel and Casey’s Topaz Filling Station, the club
have compiled a compact route of approximately 130 km. In keeping with last
years successful shake down stage the club are again continuing this fantastic
initiative for only €450 for Main Field and €250 for Junior and Historic
entrants.
brings in all the characteristics of technical and fast flowing rally action. This
year, the Motor Club have acquired a spectator friendly central service area in
the centre of Roscommon Town.
The main route consisting of a three stage loop, ran three times,
Rally HQ will again be held in the Abbey Hotel Roscommon Town. Regs available

Midland MC is once again delighted to announce details of their forthcoming Moto Stages rally in association with The Abbey Hotel and Caseys Topaz to be held on Sunday the 24th March 2013. The rally is back in Roscommon town this year following a successful event last year. The COC for the event is Sean Cahill who along with his team have been busy putting the event together to ensure an enjoyable and safe days rallying for all. The stages are all based around the town of Roscommon in a 3 stage format repeated 3 times with centralised servicing in Roscommon town and minimum road mileage between stages.
This year the club has again secured approval from Motorsport Ireland to run a shakedown or test stage on Saturday afternoon. This proved a great success last year giving the competitors an opportunity to check their cars and make sure they are set up correctly. This offers both the competitor and spectator alike a great opportunity to make the most out of an exciting week-end of rallying. Midland MC is delighted once again to have the Abbey Hotel and Caseys Topaz as main sponsor. The rally is round 2 of the Midland East Rally Championship and round 3 of the Johnston Toytown Club championship.
