Event Cancelled

"The members of BADMC have had a difficult decision to make this morning, and it is with regret that we announce the cancellation of the Leisure Services Summer Stages 2012 due to run at Bishopscourt Racing Circuit on July 13th.
Unfortunately due to lack of entries received it was just not feasible to run the event.
The club was willing to, because of it's 20th Anniversary, award 20 free entries to the first 40 competitors received before the closing date. Disregarding these 20 free entries which the club was willing to take the financial responsibility for, the event was still not viable.
We offer our gratitude to all competitors who supported the club by posting an entry and advise them that entry fees will be returned in full!"

The Leisure Services Summer Stages 'Motor Mania' event takes place on Friday 13th July, but this year it's much more than a rally. Not only will we have the familiar roar of rally cars taking to the stages, but this year club members are busy planning an exciting range of static displays & simulators make this a fun filled day out for all the family.
Other exciting news is that we are delighted to welcome ‘Leisure Services’ as our title sponsor for this year’s event. Leisure Services is a local business, based in Downpatrick which offers a wide range of caravan and motor home repairs and servicing, as well as caravan disposal throughout Ireland.
The club are overjoyed to have Leisure Services onboard for this special year, as back in 1992 Sam Matthewson company director, was one of the founding members of the Ballynahinch and District Motor Club. Sam commented,
‘I've been involved with BADMC from the start, and with 2012 being the clubs 20th anniversary I'm delighted that Leisure Services can offer support to this popular event.'

Chairman Brian Crawford commented,
'when BADMC members sat down to discussed how to mark this occasion, we all agreed the best way was to reward the people who keep the sport going. The first 40 entries in, have a 50/50 chance of getting their money back and that sounds like fairly good odds to me!'
So who wants a day of fun filled rallying for free??
All we ask is that eligible entries must be received before entries close on Friday 6th July, and a member of the competing crew is present at the prize giving to receive the cheque back. It really is that simple......"
