Raffle in Aid of Japan - ONCE IN A LIFE TIME SEAT

No one could fail but to be moved by the horrific images coming out of Japan in recent days, because of this Ballynahinch and District Motor Club and the McGrady Insurance Stages Rally has decided to raise funds to help and support the victims of the earthquake and tsunami.

David Greer will be giving you the chance to experience a stage of this Saturdays Rally from the passenger seat of his newly built Opel Ascona 400. This is the same car that David and Brian Crawford recently brought home in 13th position overall on the RAC Rally. It is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity.

There are six seats up for grabs and tickets costing only £5 will be sold at Bishopscourt on the day.
We would ask you to dig deep and support our worthwhile cause!!

ST. PATRICK REGONISES MOTORSPORT EVENT

McGrady Insurance Stages Rally is now included as part of the St. Patrick’s Day Festival programme

Down District Council have included Ballynahinch & District Motor Clubs McGrady Insurance Stages Rally in their 2011 St Patrick’s Day Festival programme.

Clerk of Course Paul Conlon of Ballynahinch & District Motor Club and Fintan McGrady of McGrady Insurance are both very proud to have this excellent event included in the festival programme.

This event which is held at Bishopscourt Racing Circuit and is the second round of the MSA N.I. Hankook Stage Rally Championship attracts competitor and spectators from all over Ireland to Downpatrick the resting place of St Patrick. Its takes place on Saturday 19th March 2011.

Ballynahinch and District Motor Club are set to run the second round of the Hankook NI Rally Championship, in Bishopscourt Circuit on Saturday 19th March 2011.
Popular competitor Fintan McGrady, from McGrady Insurance who has again agreed to sponsor the event.
This year’s event brings with it some dramatic changes to the circuit, including the new ‘right over crest’ which Clerk of Course, Paul Conlon thinks will add a new twist to this already popular rally. Spectators and competitors are promised an action packed day.
